The multiple spelling errors in the Duke blog don't exactly sell Duke as an academic oasis.
I keep telling people...when I lived in Raleigh, some of the MOST UNIMPRESSIVE alumni I meet were from DUKE. I would go as far as saying at least 1/3 of them were complete dumb *****. Now I admit to an anti Duke bias...but my wife that could give a crap less said the EXACT SAME THING.
In fact she was the one that initially brought it up, and then I kinda piled on. Much of their lofty academic rating comes no doubt from them being left of even Iowa politically on that campus. Next time you look at school ratings, try and find a conservative one with a high rank. Just saying.
He wants a NC and we are pretty far from that right now.
We were also pretty far from one during the 98-99 season and look what happened the following two seasons. It can take just one guy to propel a program to a national championship contender. HB is capable of doing so just like Tinsley did.

Whatever HB decides, I've been really impressed how he's gone about his decision. Its not like he's sitting back, waiting to be "wowed" by some typical recruiting gimmick. He's spent the time with his mom, visiting several schools (several times), and is really taking his time, making his own decision.
Not exactly a fun process for ISU fans, but at least if HB decides to head out of state and go far away from his mom, he'll have made an educated decision.
