Best Player there:
Demarcus Phillips:
Strong, Physical, above average shooter, great handle and penetration. very good vision, a combo guard who is
very good
Others who stood out:
Ejim: He's
built. He's athletic, and goes hard all the time. He's a good shooter, though his three took a little while to get going. His defense is unbelievable. In all the time I watched him, he was scored on once. He is extremely long, athletic, quick, and has a deadly mid-range jumper.
Staten: 6'1", but his wingspans got to be 6'4"-6'5". He was the quickest player there by far, and can score in a million different ways. He is way farther along at the same age than Chasson Randle was last year, and Chasson's ranked 31st in his class and on the U-16 national team. He does kick his elbow out a little on his jumper.
Will Clyburn: Skinny, athletic, long, very good shooter, though he doesn't elevate a ton on it.
Norvell Arnold: SCC 3. Great shooter, hit 5 threes in a row. Decent athlete, decent bounce, good defender
Kadeem Green: 6'8", really, really long and athletic. Good handle, solid turn-around jumper. Needs to spend more time in the post, where his lengthand athleticism would wreak havoc.
Phillip Jackson: Tall, athletic, has the frame to add a lot of weight. Solid jumper, favorite move is a fade-away jumper in the post, a la Craig
Deonte Burton, 2013: 6'4", approx. 200 lbs, and not an ounce of fat. Oh yeah, he's a guard. He has a slick handle, a good jumper, though it's a bit flat. He understands the game well, and can post up smaller players, repeatedly hitting a baby hook over smaller and bigger defenders.
Elgin Cook: Great athlete, 6'5", Great defender. Alvin Robertson's son. Not a good shooter by any stretch of the imagination, but is hard to stop when he attacks the basket
Darnell Harris: Kid can shoot, and post up. Very good passer too. He's one to watch.
Dre Henley: I love his game, have since his freshman year. Right now, he's a 6'5"-ish wing (lefty) that's a very good shooter and passer. He's quick, and is a student of the game. His dad is 6'11", and he definitely looks like he's not done growing. He's crafty, and can penetrate really well. When he draws the double, he can kick out and find the open man very easily. He's good, one of my favorites.

Mohmhed Fall, Cloud County Juco: He's very strong, uses his body really well in the post, and gets good position. He's slightly raw, but he has a high ceilining with his athleticism and strength.
Buckley is much, much better. He has dropped bulk for lean muscle, is much quicker, his shot is very good, and his defense has really, really improved since last year. He found guys really well. I would be very, very suprised if he isn't the starter all year next year.
Ham's mid-range jumper is deadly. He hit 18-20 while I was watching. He is a little quicker, and is adding some moves around the post.
Gilstrap is good. Very good.
