I posted this in another thread, but this seems like a better spot for it. Obviously the Williams transfer in no way means that we will win, but Duke fans are definitely worried about their guard depth as CIMD referred to.

The bottom line is that this is a disaster. There's no way around it. I'm a big fan of both Scheyer and Nolan, but this is really bad.

I'm just hoping that JP and all realize the importance of this game, and do everything possible to get as many Iowa State fans there as possible. This could really come down to who has more fans at the game.

Their stud Fr PG, Elliot Williams, is transferring to Memphis. Unfortunately his mom is very ill, and he wants to be closer to her. That is a HUGE loss as he was a 5 star recruit, and was the #3 SG in the class.

This is a winnable game. Is Duke better than us, most likely. But this may be one of the worst Duke teams in recent memory.

I'd love for ISU to beat Duke. I really would. In fact, depending on my winter break schedule, I may be making a trip out to Chicago for this game.
