So then you throw Hamilton out there a the 5 for those games. I don't know why people feel the need to over analyze the guard situation like it's some big controversy. All it does is give us versatility to tailor our lineup each game and attempt to exploit matchups.

But the point you were making is that SG's need to be able to shoot. It's isn't a must.
Let's face it, DG has been playing basketball since he was a little kid and he still can't shoot well from outside. The likelihood of that happening in the last two years of college for him are extremely low. We would all love it to be the case but it is what it is.

My point was, shooting guards don't necessarily be able to shoot. DG is most definitely not a Wade or Drexler.

Because Nebraska got killed in a NU win over Texas 58-55 this year doing the same thing, it wont work. Again I said situation, not the starting lineup.
Note: Teams Nebraska beat in the Big 12 that we didn't
Mizzou (home)
KSU (home)
@ Colorado
Texas (home)
Also, they took Oky State to OT. This type of lineup can work. I understand the natural tendency to think about what the other team has, but think about what we would have.
You don't always have to be bigger than the other guy to win. PSU won the NIT, that is better than what we could say.

You don't always have to be bigger than the other guy to win. The Big 12 last year had a few teams without a traditional line-up.
Ask any NU fan, and they will tell you if they had a Big to play, they would have made the NCAA.

One of the most interesting things for me about Big XII basketball is the variety of styles and such that we play against. Anyone that fights their way through that conference successfully needs to be a good, versatile team.

Re: 6/24 - Capitol City League
the team had a very tough workout today so if you are going to the capital city games today they will most likely be fatigued.
If you are going, see who is in shape to be starters and who is not.
We don't need refs, but I guess white guys need something to do. -Charles Barkley-
