The Barnes affect if he DOESN'T commit to ISU

Wow, two "what if Barnes commits to ISU" threads in the same day, not even including this one. And there really isn't anything special about today, no new HB revelations or anything to explain it.

I think people are setting themselves up for a really massive fall if the worst were to happen and he were to commit somewhere else. So what would be the impact on ISU -- and this board in particular -- if HB does go somewhere else? Would the University have to drop massive quantities of anti-depressant medications into the Ames well water? Would the CyFanatic board have to be shut down for two days, kind of like the way the government suspends trading on the major stock exchanges in the event of a major crash?

I'm not sure what threads like this are supposed to accomplish. At least the other threads make us smile, what the purpose of this? Would you like ISU to quite recruiting him?

We all feel we may have a little chance in getting him. Even the people saying they know for a fact he wont come here know we do. If he goes elsewhere who's going to be suprised? I know I wont be.

No offense but dumb!

Go to the Duke board. They post more about him than we do. Go the national rivals board and there is 6 threads on Barnes right now.

Now we are talking about the #1 ranked recruit in the country who happens to live in our back yard. Of course people are going to start threads and talk about it. I don't know how so many little girls on this board get all bent out of shape when people talk about him.

Get over it people. We will probably talk about this kid even if he signs elsewhere. Some people would like to see a thread not get derailed by girls ******** about another HB thread. If you don't like it stay out! It says at the top what the thread is about

Um... talking about him isn't really the problem. The problem is apparently feeling the need to create umpteen threads about the same topic. "What happens if HB commits?" and then "The Barnes effect if he commits to ISU". Seriously, it's the same thing. If it fits in an already existing thread, put in there. Don't create as many threads as you can just to say the same thing 300 other threads have said.

Just don't read it!

I find it funny that there are 10 different rank your favorite movie threads and everyone seems ok with that. But a topic actually sports related gets ripped by some

I just did a search on the favorite movie threads that you're speaking of, and could only find 3 since February.

We easily have 3 new HB threads in a week. It gets real tiresome and overplayed.

In your opinion. It doesn't get tiresome if you stay out of the thread.

It gets tiresome to see 3 threads about one thing on the front page all the time that I have to wade through.

Also, it isn't my "opinion" if it's a fact. There haven't been 10 favorite movie threads that I could find. The HB thing may be wrong, but I'll search and let you know my results.

EDIT: In my quick search, I found 1 thread about "favorite movies" in the first 20 threads with that result. I found 18/20 "Harrison Barnes" threads in the first page as well. Also, most of those threads had been created within the past 3 weeks for HB. I had five from the past 3 days even.
