For a second there I thought this was a double post.
kind of makes it sound like coming back was a bad idea..
I wonder who they will be playing on the televised game. Hopefully it is a good CIML team.
that picture looks a little odd:wideeyed:
You would think a publication/website as well-known and renowned as SI could find a better picture, or at least get the information correct (the conference record). Great editing!
I really hope it pays off. It kind of sucks. I think for his development it was the right move. But looking back it was a weak draft. So I guess it depends on what his goals are. If going high in the draft... undecided. If developing into the best player... right decision.
Either way, he'll get drafted in the first round next year. If he develops and plays hard in the NBA... the money will follow. I bet Fizer wished he would have stayed despite going number 4.
But after watching the draft last week... I'm not so sure if he made the best choice for him financially or not? I definately still think he made the right decision overall though because my college years were the best years of my entire life and Craig will never get them back again once he leaves. But purely on the financial level... this draft was awful and I do think he would have been a top 10-12 pick. He's a much better pro prospect than Hansborough and he went 13th.
I hope Craig has a HUGE season this year and gets taken in the top 5 in next year's draft. Then he will have no regrets whatsoever. I wish nothing but the best for this fine young man!
It seems to me that the media likes the story of "he's returning to win a national championship." So obviously, since ISU isn't in the conversation for a national title in 2010, a potential lottery pick like Brackins "made a mistake."
Sure, if Craig had been projected as a shoo-in lottery pick, he would've left. But that wasn't the case when he was making his decision.
I too hope CB has a great season and gets drafted in good position next year!
