Ames Tribune CCL update
Linehan has her recap of Wed. CCL games. Interestingly, she states Dendy and MG have similar games. Looks like Boozer played pretty well. If he could develop his handle, he could see some PT. Capital City League » Blog Archive » Wednesday night update -
Re: Ames Tribune CCL update
Thats good that Dendy and MG are working good together. Thanks for the post.

Re: Ames Tribune CCL update
I didn't realize Buckley almost had a triple double and I was at the game. Good news... even if it is the CCL

Nice review by the Author! +1
My wife says I am wishing the summer away, however, I am excited as usual for Football, MBB and WBB to start! Wrestling too this year!
Go State!

Re: Ames Tribune CCL update
Anyone else notice the number of rebounds everyone's getting....makes you wonder if they are playing more like 6 on 6 basektball. I am guessing not a whole lot of D going on

Re: Ames Tribune CCL update
Also, dare I ask who "Bubu Palo" (ISU) is playing for MOHA? Not sure who he is or was the (ISU) a typo?

Pritchard from Ames is the one going to Yale.

Re: Ames Tribune CCL update
I have been at most of the games this year; alot of show; open gym stuff; what I look at is the new kids. I have been impressed with the walk-ons. I think they could of played elswhere but decided to play for ISU; Bubu and Alex do hold their own - not flashy but always play thier game; stepping aside for the kids everybody want to see - looking forward for them to make some noise if they can hold out.

How long are these games? 110-101, 125-97, 125-118...either they are playing 80 minute games or virtually no defense.
I'm not sure a whole lot can be ascertained from this type of environment.

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes. -

You can get a sense from watching but not much from stats.

I'm not sure a whole lot can be ascertained from this type of environment. There is nothing profound or enlightening in your post. No one is contending that stats, or even play, in the CCL will equate to much in 09-10, but simply reporting how well/poorly they did on Wed. night. Stop trying to look for controversy.
