Not that DG could not get ISU there either, but...

Well this will give him more time to work on his upper body.

I've felt the lack of playing time for freshman under Greg was due to the fact that most of them couldn't grasp what he wanted done. I would hope Greg realizes that if you want blue chip players you need to give them a fair chance to play. (Not trying to call you out. Just curious)

The Converses you were talking about would create so many stress fractures in basketball players feet these days. The fact is, the body is not desigened to endure the amount of pounding Division I athletes put on them. You can talk about strength all day, but the fact is, people don't take time off to let things heal and inflamation to settle down.

Re: DG is out 3-6 weeks
I know this sounds nutty, but a podiatrist actually told my girlfriend that broken feet heal the slowest because they are farthest from the brain. Her supervisor was told the same thing from an orthopedist. Has anyone heard this before? I don't see the connection.

Communication with-in the body is probably crucial for healing, and I could imagine the increase in distance could hinder that communication. I wonder what the actual reason is.

Just guessing, not a doctor.
