Vitale is extremely knowledgeable in college hoops, but he definitely missed the boat on this one.

To be fair, Brackins didn't average a double-double. He was 20 and 9 I believe. Not that far off, but Brackins can still improve in the rebound dept

It was 20.2 and 9.5, just doing some rounding. My bad. I do agree with you that the rebounding number needs to be up. I would like to see it in the area of 12.

Well..hopfeully someone else averages 3 rebounds a game..so CB doesn't average 20 reb a game..

as far as our NCAA chances go we need DG/ Lucca/ or DB to step up and be the 3rd scorer for us...JVB just shoots 3's...JH is another year away...Colvin is a FR...

That is the key for this year..not Brackins scoring 40 a game and everyone watches...aka Kansas..

Next year the amount of lottery prospects is greater than it was in 2009, and he is assuming Brackins is not as good as most of them. I still think he perversed the point. Given this is a 2009-10 preseason ranking based on previous accolades, being in lottery pick in 2009 is just as relevant as what may happen in the draft of 2010.
