Marcus Paige article
ILLINOISHSBASKETBALL.COM - The Best in Illinois High School Basketball Scouting.
Sorry about the formatting, the site's been acting a little screwy. I'll also add that I got the definite impression he has a favorite, but he wouldn't reveal who it was.

Re: Marcus Paige article
The kid is the definition of a point guard. It will be interesting to see how he grows physically the next couple years. I saw they listed him at 6'0" 148, but I think he's smaller than that. With a couple years in the weight room and time to grow into his body, I'm sure he'll round out to at least 175 by the time he's a senior. Either way, he's a good ball player and if he continues to develop the potential he has, I would love to see him in the cardinal & gold some day.

Re: Marcus Paige article
He's real skinny, but I suppose that's expected at his age. The kid has a presence on the court though ... he had that from 5th grade on up. He's always totally cool and in control of the game.

His game really reminds me of a Dean Oliver.

As far as recruiting goes, Marcus’ list read like a Who’s Who of Midwestern basketball powers. He has offers from Iowa State, Iowa, and UNI, and interest from Kansas, Minnesota, Michigan, Purdue and Wisconsin. Marcus doesn’t plan on making a college decision for at least a year, unless “a school feels like the perfect fit, I won’t wait to make that decision”
That's from your article... it makes it sound like he has a favorite that hasn't offered yet. Am I way off base there? I'd love to get this kid, granted I don't watch high school basketball but I saw a bit of the championship game last year and I was really impressed with Paige. Loved that kid.

Honestly, he definitely has a favorite, but they may have offered..when I pressed, he said, "You'll have to wait for the good stuff when I commit." FWIW.

Did Bill recruit the sister? Just curious as to why she is not a Clone.

Re: Marcus Paige article
I think this kid is going to be a stud. I know he's still really young but similar to HB the longer he puts off a commitment the less likely he is to stay in state.
