Re: Pacers finally waive Tinsley
The Sixers are talking about 6-3 Jamaal Tinsley, who was released by Indiana on Wednesday after the sides agreed on a buyout. The Pacers sat the seven-year vet for the 2008-09 season because of disciplinary issues. He was connected with three late-night conflicts in a 14-month span.

Re: Pacers finally waive Tinsley
My whole take on this is just how many more NBA cities are out there that have fewer opportunities for pro players to get into trouble than Indianapolis? Maybe Salt Lake City? That's gotta be it.
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this. -
Re: Pacers finally waive Tinsley
In many ways, Jamaal Tinsley is what the Heat is trying to distance itself from, a player who hardly has shown that basketball is a passion or priority. On the other hand, if Tinsley is willing to play on a one-year contract at the minimum, the Heat certainly could offer an opportunity to re-establish himself before 2010 free agency

Re: Pacers finally waive Tinsley
The Indiana Pacers saved money but still will feel the impact of Jamaal Tinsley for the next two seasons. Tinsley's $10.7 million buyout will account for roughly $5.1 million of the Pacers' salary cap next season and about $5.6 million in the 2010-11 season.

Knicks president Donnie Walsh said he will meet with free agent PG Jamaal Tinsley "sometime next week."

I really think he would get his act together to play for his hometown team. He knows this is his last chance in the NBA.

Jamaal was the one being shot at in his worst incident, not the other way around. One could certainly say he was the clear cut victim there. Fizer had a gun in his vehicle but it's not like he's been arrested tons of times or has been involved with shady dealings. He wasn't the best locker room guy in the league but that doesn't make him a thug. Lots of people have conflicts at work.
I'm thankful both played basketball at Iowa State. They gave me plenty of good times.

The Knicks will meet with free agent point guard Jamaal Tinsley, according to a source. Tinsley, banished by the Indiana Pacers last season for disciplinary reasons - he recently reached a settlement with the team - is scheduled to meet with president Donnie Walsh and coach Mike D'Antoni at some point this week

It would be cool to see Tinsley playing uptempo style. You can totally see him doing coolest dribbling skills!
