I hate this guy. He has Brackins on the AA 4th team. Fox Sports has him as a Top 10 Player for the year. Good call V.

Have you guys ever gone back and watched Vitale do a game, say, 10 years ago? He was knowledgeable, insightful, and solid. I don't know what happened. Now, he's awful.** He's a shameless promoter of every player that he decides is elite in the pre-season (without changing his opinions over the course of a season), and of every team that is a traditional power. And even as a Kansas fan, a traditional power that he regularly pimps, it's f-ing obnoxious.

**I've for a few years now wanted to start an e-mail campaign to ESPN's advertisers, telling them that when Dickie V is talking, my TV is on mute (which, 90% of the time, is absolutely true). I usually don't watch ads, but my TV is still on, so I'm hearing them. But when my TV is on mute, I'm not watching or listening to ads, meaning the advertisers are wasting their money on me during Vitale's games. I assume I'm not alone in this regard.

However, this list isn't THAT bad. A few players may be off by a team or two, but that's how opinions work. I seriously doubt Collins AND Aldrich will end up being 1st team AA. I bet Ed Davis ends up on one of the top 3 teams. I think Greivis Vasquez is vastly overrated. Vitale also split everything up by position, so instead of thinking Brackins is behind 15 other players, it's more like he's behind 3 other PFs (typically a position with the most solid depth in CBB**). Voters don't always do it by position at the end of a season.

**You recall that Aldrich, Brackins, Carroll, and Griffin were all bigs and were all 1st Team All-Big 12 last season)

He has never been to Hilton for a game. In all his years at ESPN he has never been to Hilton. He doesnt care about ISU.

He moves pretty good for a big guy and blocks lots of shots and changes twice as many as he blocks. Plus he really goes after rebounds and even though his shot looks terrible it goes in quite a bit and he seems to have some pretty good range for his size. He could work on his offense, but I think people are ranking him on potential more than current ability.

Ahh...he is alright. Though when he takes a jump shot....you know, with that stupid delivery.....I just want to punch things when that ugly thing goes in.

4th Team?? Are you kidding me. Thanks for the laugh Mr. Vitale, now go back and do some research on the players based on their talent and not the relationship you have with the coach's of the players named ahead of Craig.

Yes. Averaging a double-double, shooting 60%, and being the 2nd option on a team favored to win it all next year is not good at all.

There are always two ways to look at that.
Would he put up Brackins like numbers if the two were switched? Would ISU win more if they had Cole and not Brackins?
