    Mcdermott's ten worst losses as ISU coach

    From his first season, losing at Kansas 52-89 and the home loss to Missouri, 55-77.
    From the second season, losing at Drake 44-79 and against UNI at home 48-61.
    And the rest come from his disastrous third season.
    Losing at home to South Dakota State, 58-65.
    Losing at Hawaii, 59-60.
    Losing at Missouri, 46-77.
    Losing at Iowa, 57-73.
    Losing at home to Kansas State 46-50.
    Losing at home to Drake 63-66.

    The Texas game from 2007 ****** me off. We had that game but he sat the starters way too much. The loss to Kansas State at the end of the 2007 season was a horrible way to send off Rahshon and Jiri.

    Well, we can blame Pollard for all the losses.

    We would have had a 90,000 seat Hilton if Pollard hadn't screwed that up in the early 1970s.

    Wilt Chamberlain would have transferred here to play with Gary Thompson. He wanted to, but Pollard wouldn't let it happen.
