Iowa State makes top 6 with Barnes!!

Let's make this easier on everybody.

This is a free site that offers anybody and everybody something to love. A dozen or so moderators dedicate a lot of their time to help run this place. Thousands of active posters help keep things lively. Dozens and dozens of our fellow Cyclone athletes are active members and/or visitors.

And all some can do is complain because they don't like the news or they don't like to follow rules. Well, that is life. For everything there are sacrifices.

Going forward, I will not post ANY news; good or bad. Chris Williams will be handling all news, rumors, recruiting and other posting items.

I've had CycloneFanatic going strong for 4 years now and it's too bad that some individuals can't grow up and be respectful to people that try extremely hard to provide a top-notch site and service for the best price around (free).

Didn't anyone listen to the quote he had about Duke and their fans when he was on with Matt and Miller a couple weeks back... I'm suprised no one caught on to it. Instead they criticized Matt's question about Doug McDermott.

Barnes was asked what he thought about Cameron Indoor Stadium and Duke. He said something to the effect that. Cameron is the best place in the country for basketball and they have the best fan base in all of college.

Sounded like he was extremely high on them... Going as far as saying they are "the best" fanbase in all of college basketball. Not something you would say if your big time interested in another college.

And whats the point..... If ISU is in the top 10, top 6, top 5, top 2?? He isn't coming... The quicker you realize this the better for all your fragile egos

he lists iowa state in a 2nd paragraph! what is that! he just doing it outta respect! we do things the right way at isu! and if you wanna play for a bunch of cheaters like williiams! and coach k thats your choice!

If he was genuinely considering Iowa State, he would have grouped them in with the rest of the schools.

FYI - The news is on another site as well and copying the text from there regarding an interview Barnes gave today will not be allowed. As always, we respect the wishes of other publishers and do not allow people to paste or repeat items from their for-fee service. It's a rule we've had for several years.

How about people just react when he actually signs a piece of paper. The kid is 17 years old and probably will change his mind 3 more times between now and signing day.

I'm not saying he is coming to I-State, but you don't watch much basketball if you don't agree with what he said about Duke.

I agree with him 100%, and I HATE Duke. That being said UNC would be hard for me to pass up.(don't like them either)

Something that people need to keep in mind about this. The article was written by a Kansas slant writer. Harrison Barnes didn't write it. It didn't put Iowa State in the second paragraph. This slant writer did. He could have listed all of those schools and than Iowa State without even pausing

My point... If this is indeed an up in the air decision on Barnes part still... Why would you make that statement?? Barnes has been really smart with the words and with his interviews. Why would you say something like that if they weren't your front runner?

Why not say... They have great fans and a great atmosphere.

He said "the best" in all of college basketball.

Jeze people -- lay off Jeremy. There's a reason this is the most successful Iowa State fan site on the web. For those of you who are new, Jeremy has always passed along inside info about ISU and, other than a few understandable mistakes (see: Brian Kelly), he has been right nearly every time. This site first broke out when Jeremy broke the news (early) that Wayne Morgan would be fired. If you don't like what he has to say, or think he's wrong, just wait. If HB commits to ISU, feel free to call out Jeremy's info and start your own fan site that you dedicate countless hours to for the benefit of the Cyclone fan base. If not, lay off, and consider the price you're paying for the info on this site.
