Chicago Invitational could be in trouble....
The arena hosting the Chicago Invitational is having financial trouble, and is in the early stages of turning the arena over to the village where it's located. The village is talking about foreclosure, and a shutdown of the arena while ownership is transferred is likely.
A story earlier this week quoted the organizer of the Chicago Invitational as saying arena officials told him he won't have to worry, but village officials later this week revealed they've told at least one event to have a plan B.
Hopefully this all takes place in early October, which should allow everything to be cleared by the time the CIT is scheduled.

Maybe Des Moines should step in and offer up Wells Fargo :)
