Re: Dear Mr. Barnes, you have a straightforward decision
This is pretty stupid. Let the kid make his own decision. No need to get angry over anything.

Re: Dear Mr. Barnes, you have a straightforward decision
If the OP really knows what he is talking about he would have mentioned how many college credits Harrison already has as a factor in college, how many years he'll be there, blah blah blah.
Straight out of HB's mouth he has 22 credits allready so he may be in college for only 3 years anyway, so Mr. Genius OP, did you forget that or not know that?

The more I think about it, the more I enjoy Barnes holding off his decision until the very last possible second. It's as if he's toying with some of you - pulling on the puppet strings.

From all accounts of seeing him on tv and people that I know that talk to him, he seems like a very classy guy.
I don't think he probably has said anything because he shouldn't have to. It's his choice and he knows whats best for him. He stays out of trouble, get's good grades, says the right things, stayed at Ames High, etc.
The kid is under the biggest microscope any high schooler from this state has ever seen and is living up to it all.

But when you go to the effect of detailing years of college, millions of dollars, and your mom moving across the country with you, and don't even know that, then I'll agree with you.
And yes, you are a genius.
