    Re: Dykstra

He's playing football this fall and according to the local papers in NW Iowa wants to play college ball with some of his current high school team mates. I could see him going to USD, Northwestern (Orange City) or Dordt. He would be NAIA Stud.

    Re: Dykstra

I did not mean to come off harsh but Dykstra just is not good enough to play in the Big 12. It became more and more obvious and it was just best for both parties to go their seperate ways. I am sure he will do fine at a lower level.

I thought Heemstra was either going to Iowa or leaning that way.

Come on guys! Dykstra is good enough to play Big 12 basketball, he just more or less didn't want to work hard enough to make it happen. The kid had the height and skill to be a very solid player though. Just didn't want it. Nothing wrong with that

I agree. A young high school kid had different priorities in life than playing basketball only, and wanted to contribute to various parts of his small school's program. A lot of it is pretty selfless to me.
