Thanksgiving in Chicago - What hotels?

Planning trip to Chicago but haven't decided on a hotel yet. Where is everybody staying - downtown is expensive on Saturday Night!! Is there a hotel anybody knows where Ia State fans are going to be at??

When the games where scheduled at the sears centre we got reservations at the Marriott Rennisance in schaumberg for $105 a night and free breakfast, but when it moved downtown I got reservations at the sheraton towers for $179 a night. The sheraton is alot cheaper than anything else downtown. Friday night is cheap, but saturday was pretty high everywhere else. The marriott is about a 35 minute drive, but my wife wants to shop at woodfield mall, and the boys like going to the Dicks sporting goods store there. I still have the sheraton reservations if anyone is looking to stay downtown, I could put them in your name

I pricelined a place for a Sat night in the loop, near Mich Ave. about a month ago. I think I put in 3 star, for $110 - It set me up with Hotel Allegro - which was pretty cool. Regularly would have been $175+

Check into the Holiday Inn in Mart Plaza. You can save a bundle if you have a AAA card.

Rooms there are going for 89 bucks a night. That seems pretty decent.

Anyone ever heard of the Crowne Plaza.. thats like 94 a night.
