Ames High's AD was on Murph and Andy talking about Ames' game against Chicago at Hilton and he mentioned that Barnes was announcing on the 13th. He may have gotten his dates wrong though. But that is what Judge (Ames AD) said on the air.

It's on other schools' boards, too, saying the same thing, but I can't find anything official.

It was said on KXNO about an hour or so ago. So nothing official in writing but I heard the Ames AD say it. Althoguh, he also said Barnes does not want to announce on the 11th and overshadow any of his teammates. He didnt mention the 12th. Perhaps he misspoke on the dates. But he said the 13th.
