    Chris, a BB question

Where does the MBB team (and WBB team for that matter) get ready for games? Do they still use locker rooms at Hilton? Or do they get dressed and taped up at the new practice facility and then bus it down to Hilton?

IMO, good question. And really the only real disadvantage of having the facility not connected to the arena.

I assume they get ready in Hilton - but I'm not 100%. I thought I saw the player's cars at Hilton for the first game (they park on the east side) so that also leads me to believing they get ready at Hilton. If it was the facility, I'd assume they'd bus 'em to Hilton.

I would assume that they have the facilities to do all of that in Hilton since before the practice facility ther was state gym/forker/hilton for practices. IF, for some reason hilton did not have these (I think doubtful), why could they not do it at the football stadium at their facilities.

Another reason, you don't want guys getting ready and then going outside in the dead of winter to head to another location for a variety of reasons. The more I think about it, the more I'd be shocked if the gameday prep was done anywhere else but Hilton.

I am almost sure its all done at hilton. I agree, I'd be shocked if Hilton did not have the facilities to do this stuff.

It would be done at Hilton. Anywhere else would be stupid.
Make sure you don't call the charge. But make sure you call the foul on the scrum....

Their practice before the game is in Hilton. They get ready at Hilton.

    Re: Chris, a BB question

Hilton is where they still get ready, at least that is what I was told was going to happen this spring when I was still working for Hilton. Also, the players and coaches are still driving themselves to the coliseum

    Re: Chris, a BB question

I'm assuming they kept the locker rooms in Hilton. No real need to NOT get ready in Hilton. I will say the new practice facility allows them to have a shoot around closer to game time though.

Agreed. I believe Hilton is the correct answer.

    Re: Chris, a BB question

previously, the team had lockers and training rooms in the depths of the Hilton. during a women's game, the visiting team use the "men's side" lockers and training rm. During a men's game - vice versa.

I would imagine it will remain that way - seems like a pain in the butt to dress and get taped elsewhere.
