For those that aren't students and didn't graduate in the past 5 or so years, Gerdin is VERY nice. They did a great job with that building and I'd bet that very few schools have a better business building. HUGE improvement from taking business courses at Carver.

I wouldn't go so far to say Carver "sucked". I had probably a full third of my classes in there.
But I have no dout Gerdin is much nicer.

I was in Ames for just the first year of Gerdin being open. There is no comparison between Carver and Gerdin. I wish it would have been around earlier. The lounge and those little coves (not sure what they are called) in the back of the main floor were awesome.

President Geoffrey has been meeting with the College of Ag since 1:00 (I think). I was with him for a meeting in a classroom in the Food Science building from 2-3. So, he is probably not meeting with Harrison right now. (And if you don't know who I am already from past conversations, No - I do not work in the food science building... :)
The usual way that prospective athletes meet with colleges is though an advisor or a professor (depending on the college). With the College of Business, they usually just have an advisor meet with the student and guests. So, this really was rolling out the red carpet compared to "usual" meetings.

I'd be surprised if GG didn't meet with or at least talk to Barnes while he was on campus.

Not saying he didn't, just not at the time the person above said they saw Cy in Beadshear. :)
