How should the admin/mods handle the HB announcement?

So, I'm going to go ahead and say that no, Iowa doesn't make a BCS bowl with 2 losses. Thread hijack complete.

I think you are being a little bit dramatic. No one is going to threaten Barnes. People will be mad or sad, but that's it. I'll post that I hate Duke or North Carolina about 50 times and then we'll all move on b/c it is basketball season and we won't let Barnes moving away stop us from enjoying what should be a fun season.

Here is how I see it playing out. Harrison goes into a long schpeel about how great eveyrone has been to him and then pulls out a Duke hat and puts it on. Coach K, having obviously watched this, call up Harrison, only to have Ashton Kutcher answer the form and tell him he has been punked. After revealing the "punking", Harrison puts on the Iowa State hat and we win four straight national championships.

I dont like how you have 666 posts. That cant be good.

How about banning anyone that has anything negative to say prior to HB's announcement? Some of you guys lose before you take the court.

I hope people have enough common sense to be happy for this kid regardless where he goes. He's handled his recruitment so well that everyone is still in the dark and has no clue where he's going which is pretty amazing. I'd be thrilled if he becomes a Cyclone but if he becomes a Tar Heel or Blue Devil I don't blame him one bit either and commend how he gave a thought of thought and consideration into his choice.

If HB doesn't pick ISU I know I won't be posting or reading here. No need at that point.

If you think the mods will shut the site down you are crazy. The number of hits here for ad revenue will be off the charts. They should keep it up and it should be left up. If we don't have the kind of fanbase that can handle this with maturity than that says a lot more about us than this website.

I would love to have Barnes and I think the staff has done all they can to recruit him. I truly think that he likes ISU and could see himself here. He has a tough choice and honestly I don't envy him in it. That's a lot of fame and pressure on a young kid but he's a class individual and will handle it with class. That said if he goes somewhere else than ISU he's not a Cyclone and I will neither root for or against him.

I couldn't log in today and thought the servers crashed due to a leak of where he was going.

Had to check the Duke and UNC pages to make sure.

I think any issue I have with CF all week I'm just going to assume it's due to Barnes.

How about extra credits and automatic reps for threads and posts that don't pertain to HB? It will be Friday the 13th, you know.
