Barnes today: all six teams still in running

We know he is not coming to ISU, he was at the ISU tailgate this weekend and was not having fun so he is dreading having to tell his friends that he is going to Duke.

It'll have to be a relief for him once he's made the decision public,all the anticipation is gone, and the initial reaction has died down. I'm sure it will be a while before he can go somewhere without people asking him questions, but the recruiting questions have to be getting old.

Harrison hates me. That is the only way I can understand him not telling me his decision. He wants me to wait till friday. Some people have nerve.

If anyone thinks he really is considering all 6 teams at this point.... well obviously he is not.

HB is just keeping his decision close to the vest like he has all along.

This is now the second time I've read this...is this due to ISU or to him not being comfortable with all the circus?

I never get the sense he's all that comfortable with all of this from the little I've seen or read.

I also have to wonder how much of his decision will be based on what his mother thinks...and how much of it is going to based on him.

I think the original poster was just repeating the fact that someone said he wasn't having fun. Obviously, if he didn't like being with the players and coaches that isn't good, but I think we also have to remember that sometimes kids that age are kind of 'too cool for school' and not read a whole lot into it.

I'd seriously give Harrison $100.00 if when he went to make the decision he grabbed the KU hat and started laughing. Then tossed it in the trash and said "yeah right". If he did that I would really not care if he chose someone else at that point.

Saying it will come down to this UNC or Iowa State. In that order. For sure he will be one in done since he is considered number one draft pick for 2011.

Don't pay any attention to brianhos. He has been the scrooge of Harrison Barnes for well over a year. I look forward to rubbing it his face if HB committs to ISU

wouldn't that be a classic Cyclone story. HB commits to ISU then is indefinately suspended by the NCAA because Knownothing give him a hundred bucks.

I think sometimes the Register prints stuff like that just to get comments and a rise out of the fans. They have to see if anyone is actually reading what they put on their website.
