McDermott's system is a harder sell to the ball hogs of the world, but winning sells itself in some ways and once the W's get rolling to system will fade into the background.

I blame myself for clicking it, but the seconds of my life that writer took are ones I'd like to have back.

I think I see how he got it. He went by official visits, so we're "automatically out." He more than likely went by national notoriety, since they've all done that, and voila, instant article.

Not sure if anyone has known this already, but I just found out from Harrison's girlfriend's cousin that they have been broken up, im just not sure how long ago this happened. But, this could possibly be a sign of him going out of state

I was putting zero weight on his girlfriend having any affect on where he is going.

A lot of people think just because he did not take an official visit here means ISU is out. Those people would be what I like to call "idiots".

He is announcing on Friday before our first official game, having the big public celebration, not shrinking from the Ames spotlight, just so he can attend the game tonight and be greeted hometown style.

Pessimism:
Bill Self is seen in the Des Moines airport coming in on a Lear jet.

?? The young man lives in Ames, he's in high school. You think he'd fly to Raleigh and make his announcement from there? Drive to Des Moines and make the announcement from the capitol steps? Good grief, folks, get a little grip. Why would he make the announcement, regardless of school, from anywhere but Ames?

By the way, I went to my dentist this morning. He didn't know anything.

But now this Tom Cruise, HB, plane on a treadmill thing....Hmmm. Add a little parallel universe theory, maybe the good guys will win out yet.

cause that would be relevant at all seeing that he isn't going anywhere until after the school year (6 months)???
