Yesterday, November 12, 2009—a date which will live in infamy—the City of Ames was suddenly and deliberately attacked by ESPN and Representatives of the Empires of Duke and North Carolina.
The City of Ames was at peace with those nations, and, at the solicitation of Duke and North Carolina’s, was still in conversation with its fan base and its Empire looking toward the maintenance of keeping Harrison Barnes in Ames. Indeed, one hour before the announcement of Harrison Barnes as a Cyclone, the Duke and North Carolina representatives to the city of Ames and their colleague delivered to the Iowa State Athletic Department a formal reply to a recent deciphered message that Harrison Barnes will not remain in Ames. While this reply stated that it seemed useless to continue the existing diplomatic negotiations, it contained no threat or hint of his decision.
It will be recorded that the distance of Ames from Duke and North Carolina makes it obvious that the attack was deliberately planned many days or even weeks ago. During the intervening time the Duke and North Carolina Fan base has deliberately sought to deceive the Ames by false statements and fan Blogs of hope for Harrison Barnes.
The attack yesterday on the Iowa State Campus has caused severe damage to Cyclone and the fan base. Very many Cyclone lives have been disappointed. In addition, Cyclone memorabilia have been reported sold at an alarming rate on the land masses between San Francisco and North Carolina. There could be a #5 jersey to be found.
Yesterday the Duke and North Carolina Empire's also launched as attack against Greg McDermott.
Last night Duke and North Carolina Empire's attacked Paul Rhoads.
Last night Duke and North Carolina Empire's attacked Bill Fennelley.
Last night Duke and North Carolina Empire's attacked Christy Johnson-Lynch.
Last night Duke and North Carolina Empire's attacked Kevin Jackson.
This morning the Duke and North Carolina Empire's attacked Jay Ronayne.
Duke and North Carolina Empire's has, therefore, undertaken a surprise offensive extending throughout the Ames area. The facts of yesterday speak for themselves. The Fans of Iowa State Programs have already formed their opinions and well understand the implication to the very life and safety of our nation.
As a Cyclone fan I have directed that all measures be taken for our defense. Always will we remember the character of the onslaught against us.
