Why does everyone assume it will be packed? I know the kid is legit...but how many people in the community will go to Ames High at 3:00 on a Friday afternoon? There might be a lot of high school students in attendance...but I can't see very many people taking time out of their Friday afternoon for this event!
Probably because there are a lot of people on here taking time out of there busy schedules to talk about it.

A public press conference for the hometown kid to stay in Ames and go to Iowa State just seems too obvious, but then the number 1 recruit going to Iowa State seems the least obvious.
So I think he will go to the mediumly obvious school...

HOW can it be possible for them to open it up to the public KNOWING the place will be packed with Cyclone fans, and then he choose another school? I would think if ISU wasn't the choice, he wouldn't have it open to the public.
Or I'm I just looking for something to hang on to in hopes he chooses ISU?
Maybe because he's the biggest recruit Ames has ever produced..interesting point but I think it's more of a love fest for Ames, not ISU. Although I hope they know how fanatical people are about ISU.
