Yes Iowa is his ***** and it's sad that we don't have a good enough program to keep them around.

No, it's not blame Roy. We are just stating that he has his way in Iowa and we don't like it.

You can't knock the guy for being an amazing recruiter and coach. And everything I hear from people is that he is a class guy and not a smug Billy Gillispie type guy.

Totally agree here. Also, if Larry were here....HB would have been a Cyclone.

Having met Harrison and his family...I doubt this.

    Re: Roy W.

Roy is a cheat. Maybe he promised HB a big pay day after he graduates. Isn't that how he worked it at KU.

Don't be surprised if Shirley lands a new job in the Carolina area. That's how things work with Roy's recruits.

    Re: Roy W.

What is it with Roy? He wins Championships. And the years he doesn't win Championships, his teams seem to be at least set up in a good position to make a run for it. I know we've all got our cardianal glasses on. And some feel like they've been dumped on here once again. But seriously, for one minute, think about it. You've got the choice to go anywhere in the country you want for college and to play for that team. Why wouldn't you go to where you felt you had the best shot at winning a championship.

I know a lot of people think recruiting is just about money, facilities, location and fanbase, but seriously, 90% of it, is winning. Win championships, don't lose to a #15 seed, get to bowl games every year, don't struggle to go 500 in the weak half of the Big XII and guess what, we'll get just about any recruit we want.

I don't mean this as a bash on the Cyclone nation. I'm just kind of tired about hearing all the excuses as to why we are getting the short end of the stick. And it probably is more than a bit of a Catch 22. But win and good things will happen.

I can't help but laugh and think what would have been with HB had this been happening in 2000. It seems almost like we'd have been a lock for him.

Oh well, there's still a bowl game to qualify for and an entire season of basketball yet to be played. Wresting, Volleyball. Life goes on peeps, Don't focus on what could have been. Focus on what has yet to come.
