Roy W.
What is it with Roy and the state of Iowa. This man has been the biggest thorn in the side to the State of Iowa. This will be his 4th All American from the state.

Re: Roy W.
Roy Williams is a class act, great coach, and a great mentor. I would want to play for him.
Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

Smart coach and great recruiter of the Midwest..
Agreed. I would want to play for him. Especially at UNC with that tradition, surrounding talent, and exposure that is unmatched by anyone in the US

Re: Roy W.
Wait, is this a blame Roy Williams for seeking good players thread?
He's gotten 4 good players from Iowa and has coached for now, what 20 years?

I think that's what is making me the most angery.

How about when he complained to the refs so much in the offseason about ISU's physical play that they decided to emphasize it the next year? Roy is a cheating used car salesman. He loves to play that awww shucks act, but most people see right through it. That being said, I'd rather HB go to UNC than Duke, KU or OU if he isn't going to ISU.

Re: Roy W.
Roy's a great coach and recruiter, but don't go overboard on the class act. There's the media Roy and the real Roy and there is quite a bit of difference between the two.

Re: Roy W.
So I wonder now does ISU get a home at home with North Carolina ? I know Roy always told players when he was at Kansas that he would schedule a game near their home if they stayed until their senior year.
