Re: For the Sake of Comparison
Perhaps we built him up to something greater than he could be. Part of what made it interesting to me was the image (perhaps erroneous) that he was very grounded for his age and above getting caught up in such hoopla. Maybe that is too much to expect from anyone in his position.
Bottom line- he doesn't want to be part of the Cyclone family. We need to focus on supporting those who do.

Re: For the Sake of Comparison
Hey Iam in South Carolina not North. I teach in a large high school that has perhaps one of the best athletes in America. He signed Wed. morning with South Carolina, he was recruited by all the SEC schools in football and basketball. and yes Big 12 schools were offering. A Cyclone press guide is in our basketball office. He also is a top sprinter. We did not get out of class to watch his signing. A very humble young man, quite a contrast from whjat I saw Friday from Ames. Our bb coach told me we got something special when we signed La Ron Dendy and after watching last nights game, I agree. Looking forward to watching this team this year. Coach Robinson told me they are going run and run this year, very fun to watch. -
