As reporters I understand why people get so excited about these types (HB and Shawn Johnson) its a good story, as Iowans people are naturally proud think they are like us, Iowans. But think about it how many of these famous Iowan athletes will EVER live in Iowa again? I guess I dont understand why people get so worked up over people when you'll never see them here again. Unless there is another disaster.

Yeah, I was surprised how sympathetic the blurb was to us. Also mentioned us in the final 3, unlike some reporting.

He is going someplace else. I am an ISU fan not an Ames High fan or a fan of all the Iowans that play high school ball. I wont root for state players at EIU and I wont root for UNC or any of its players. Nothing against him but he made his choice and I made mine. I dont really care about what he does now.

Based on friday I think HB loves the spot light and being the center of attention. He would have received a lot less attention if he had not kept ISU as a possibility. He won't get anymore attention from me and I hope to stop seeing posts re him now that the decision is made. Let's turn off the spot light.

If they don't I will never watch them again or listen to their radio show. They MUST ask this question! EVERY Clone fan (ok, maybe just me) wants to know why he opened it up to the public (ISU fans) just to let us down. I honestly could have lived with the decision had it been private.

If you can find some pro-sports teams/organizations in Iowa for those people to play for and make millions, you should call and let them know.
