I doubt he'll say this, but the best explanation I've heard is that it was the launch of his "brand." That makes sense to me (on a business level) but also sucks a big one (on a fan level)

Believe it or not Sports Soundoff isn't just ISU and Iowa..HB is the top recruit to ever be in the state of Iowa. He didn't go our way but still is a new story for the state of Iowa.
