After watching Duke the other night against Charlotte, they are definitely beatable, but whether or not we do it is another question. Singler and Sheyer can definitely drop the 3's, but if they hit a cold shooting night, I think we have a chance. Brackins can own Zoubek, and Smith won't be us by himself.

But then again, I've had a little kool-aid, myself.

I think GMac is a solid enough coach & great enough game manager to beat Cal, ND and Duke.

I'm optimistic but I wouldn't even think about a ranking unless they are going into the Cal game at 8-0. That's not exactly a cakewalk seeing as Notre Dame and UNI are both getting more votes than ISU is right now. It would be nice to see ND in the rankings by the time we play them.

Agree completely. It's way too early IMO. I think we have a lot of potential and that's it. I'm not gonna start labeling this team before we've been any team of substance yet.

I don't remember the last time I drank the Kool-Aid for any ISU team but this ISU BB team has me drinking a big glass. Probably the last time I was this excited about a team was Seneca's 2nd year(2002).

I will say.. I think ISU has a better chance of making the top 10 than Iowa has of getting into the top 200 RPI. EIU is melting down.
