Future opponennts played last night
SLU beat Nebraska 69-55. From what I've read it sounds like Nebraska just flat out sucks. It was at SLU and both are young teams. I'm not concerned about SLU at a neutral site. This game was at SLU.
SLU has 5 players on the whole roster that aren't freshmen and 4 of those are sophomores. Sorry, they have no chance. These aren't Micky D All-American young guys.

Saw this on FS Midwest. Watched most of it, and you're right, nothing to really sweat here. Looked like two bad teams playing a game of slap-fight.

More important is that we better not lose at Nebraska this year.

Re: Future opponennts played last night
But does Nebraska have a point guard this year capable of being called a punk on ESPN?

I'd make the same statement about sCUm...but...well, yea that won't happen -

There are no gimmies, no easy Wins......(Ok, North Dakota..?)

Re: Future opponennts played last night
Wow. I took a peak at SLU's roster. They have 5 So and 8 Fr, no upperclassmen at all! And their biggest guy is 6'9" 220.
That team really shouldn't trouble us at all.

I couldn't be less concerned about a team than I am about SLU. Assuming we are healthy. We're good, get used to it.

SLU and NE looks like where we were 2 years ago at the start of the season.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: Future opponennts played last night
You know..if we can just sweep NU and CU those 4 wins would put us in a good position conference wise. Obviously we'd still have to step up and win more games but just sweeping the bad teams is what we need to do as well if we want to get to 10 or more conference wins.

While I think we'll beat SLU, and I'll be there to cheer loudly, I don't think it'll be a cakewalk like you do. Every game is a challenge; if you play at this level, you better be ready to play hard every game. An attitude like this can do a team in.
SLU plays a slow it down style and they may be able to hang-in there. I think this game may be tougher than the Drake game.

Tennessee St is next Tuesday.
UND is Tuesday, Dec 22.
And, yes, UND is bad.
