And just as you said above, you have NO idea whether this is true. McDermott could very well have travelled all the way down to Texas because he was legitimately concerned about a player that seemingly disappeared in the middle of the night. That tells me there is a caring, considerate Coach. See, there can always be two versions of every story. And based on the timeline and events as clearly laid out in McDermott's press conference, I am much more inclined to give him the benefit of doubt over Wesley Johnson.
This...I'm glad we got a coach that cares enough about his players to do something like that.
