no illness or injury. just a road game against a good team and ww had an off night.
they've got good players, they'll be fine.

I watched it. OU looked disgruntled at times. They fought amongst themselves a little bit. Willie Warren was the largest reason for the squabbling. I can't even count how many times he jacked up a three, then started haggling with the ref while VCU went 5 on 4 the other way. He looked like a prima donna out there.
After watching that game, I really wish we could play OU early in the season. I imagine by the time Big XII play rolls around those freshmen will play better and Capel will have sent a message of some sort to Warren. They should be good eventually.
Still, they looked poor last night.
Bottom line is when Bradford went out the team lost spirit and games. They also are not that that good with Bradford. I'm hoping this trend continues soe we can beat them next year!!

K State looked good Sunday night. Athletic with very good guards and a good post (transfer from UCONN). Frank Martin is a psycho though. I wouldn't want to play for him. Maybe other people looked at LE in the same way so I may be hypocritical.
Capel owed VCU a game on their home floor as part of his buyout contract, or something to that effect. But just a bump in the road for them. Kinda like Syracuse's loss to the Div. 2 team. OU will be tough come conference time.
