Future opponent playing past opponent

St Louis (our opponent this Friday) is playing Mississippi Valley St (the team we crushed by 41 yesterday) on Tuesday night at St. Louis. I'm interested to see how this game goes - what kind of style St Louis plays with Majerus. They are 3-0 with a 14 point win over Nebraska. With the season being so young there isn't a ton of data out there and we shouldn't put a lot of stock in this, but Pomeroy has them ranked 13th (!!) while ISU is a solid 23rd.

From what I can tell, St Louis plays fantastic defense, takes good shots, and plays somewhat slow. I'm excited to see how good our offense is against a good defense.

Northwestern also squeeked one out against Tenn St. yesterday 69-62

I'd say the ISU-ND matchup is pretty well set if we can take out SLU
