POST GAME ISU v TSU
Nice job overall - a chance to work on our press and continue to spread out the minutes. First test of the season on its way this weekend with St Louis and ND/NW.
Go Cyclones!

Kinda disappointed we didn't get to 90..... 84 doesn't cut it. When Prepared, Fear No One. -
Re: POST GAME ISU v TSU
I posted this earlier, but ISU will beat St. Louis by 20. They aren't very good...they beat a Neb. team that is bad.

Re: POST GAME ISU v TSU
If I heard the post game show correctlly, we're the best 3pt shooting team in the nation right now!!

Re: POST GAME ISU v TSU
Good game.
Sloppy play by Colvin. Was odd to see him have trouble with the handle. Buckley had the same problem all of last year.
Pomlee could be really good down the road IMO he just needs to get tougher and stay aggresive consistently.
Christopherson is going to be a fan favorite. Does all the little things right

Re: POST GAME ISU v TSU
This is just a great year, and I can't wait to see us play good competition. In the meantime, I will take 20-40 point wins :).

Re: POST GAME ISU v TSU
What's up with our free throws? We're number 1 in the nation in 3 pointers, but probably dead last in the big 12 in FT%??? I'm guessing it will get better as we play more games...

They also aren't very big. Their starters are 5'10", 6'3", 6'3", 6'6", 6'9" and the next two in minutes played are 5'9" and 6'2".

Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

Christopherson is going to be a fan favorite. Does all the little things right Glad he could have this game now - get it out of his system if you will. Not to say that he won't have more bad games, but I'm glad he can have them when we are playing with a huge lead as he learns.
Also happy McDermott is able to spread the minutes around. Nice heading into a weekend in which we might* need to play more of our starters. Again really nice to get everyone some minutes, and not play our starters 30 - 35 mins early in the season... might help us towards the end of the season.
...on to Chicago!!!

GMac just said on the post-game that he's taking over free throw duties from the rest of his staff....that's good to hear b/c I think he'll hammer it home. You gotta nip problems like that in the butt so they don't become mental and stick around all season.

Who we beat 96-55. How many games have you seen SLU play...?
I have seen SLU play two games this year and we will run them out of the gym. Craig will have a big game...they have no height.
