He just stated that the Big 12 should be second to last in the major conferences.

Is it just me or did he look incredibly ill tonight - meaning moreso than expected.
A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.

Johnny had a flair for the truth. However bad he beat Vitale, it wasn't enough.

    Re: Vitale

Good thing Mr. Vitale doesn't do college football too. That guy would be praising the Big Ten and ACC, as if they had the best conferences in the land this year. And by the way, if you didn't catch it he said the Big 12 would be fourth in his conference rankings. I think he needs a talkin from Mr.Orr to clear up his foggy and distorted, east coast bias.

Never fails. After the first prolonged exposure to the idiot Vitale we have this anti-Vitale rant.

It would be annoying if it wasn't true. Dick is a blowhard.

    Re: Vitale

I love Vitale. I would love it if he came and did a game at Hilton. (He never has correct?) I bet he would join Kats and Doug in heaping praise on ISU.

Sure Vitale is over the top and can get annoying, but he is so positive and his enthusiasm is genuine. College basketball is my favorite sport and Dicky V represents it the way I would.

He's enthusiastic but I remember DV when he was good, and he was. Now he's a cartoon character. He's a good man though...does really good things.

I agree with this, when he first started he actually wasn't that bad. Now he is just annoying. I don't mind his radio interviews.
