To be honest, the people on here remind me of my mom. One loss and you think the team automatically sucks and is ruined forever.

99.5% of you probably didn't even see the Saint Louis game and I'm guessing only 50% saw last night's Northwestern game and probably had no real idea what was going on in either game.

Listen, almost every team loses. This isn't NCAA Football. You can have a few losses and still win the championship. Remember when we played UNC in the 2nd round in 04-05? Well guess what? Their team lost their first game to SANTA CLARA by double digits (11 points). Do you really think it let that affect them? No. It was a fluke win for Santa Clara and IMO this weekend was a fluke.

Hopefully I am proven to be correct in the next few weeks.

I think more than 50 percent saw the NW game. That's half the reason people are in a panic. That was the first or second time people have been able to see this team play and it wasn't pretty.

Well, that sucks for them. They should realize who we played in the second half though and how often.

Because most fans here explode after one loss and it's ridiculous. Football is maybe warranted but not basketball where you play almost 30 games.

I'm highly doubting Notre Dame fans are freaking out right now. Honestly. Guarantee you they're confident.

Great point!!!!!!!! If only Clone fans were as level headed as Notre Dame fans. By the way, have you ever seen the ND board after a football loss?

That's football. It's almost apples and oranges. One loss potentially ****s you over in NCAA football. One loss doesn't **** you over in basketball. Sorry, but how many teams have gone completely undefeated in basketball again? Not too many. Anybody who follows sports knows all of this.
