Here are the notes I took at today's press conference with Greg McDermott and Craig Brackins.

The Northern Iowa talk with Mac was entertaining to say the least.

I don't think that there is much question about it. We are at full strength, Northwestern was missing two key cogs...

McDermott also added that as tough as it is to play the Panthers now, it will be a lot worse next year when his son Doug is wearing purple.

So he already thinks he will be back next year?

No disrespect to UNI because I want them to continue doing well after this game, but I have a feeling we win by double digits. We are not the only team in the nation who has got beat by a team we probably should have beat. I think we will look back to the Northwestern game as a wake up call to the troops. Ultimately, I think we are to athletic for UNI and see this as a true statement game. There good, and probably the best team we have played yet, but we are better.
