MBB Intro - Fast Clap

So I was listening to the Foo Fighters song we use for our intro the other day and got me thinking... why cant we clap to this song? It would be a faster clap than the fight song or most songs, but it could work. I think it would sound pretty sweet too. Having the cheerleaders or even Cyclone Alley committee get everyone started, I think it could catch on.

Just a thought.

well thats not going to happen. there were mixed reviews about Let It Rock last year...mainly saying it was awkward, but seemed to grow on people as the year went on.

There aren't mixed reviews this year. It's pretty much agreed this year's sucks.

You guys are thinking into this too far.
All we really need to do is have everybody learn how to clap this fast, then we'd be set!

Well from the sound of things here the reviews on this year's music is that we all think it's a bad choice and awkward and needs to go. I'm not sure where the "mixed reviews" from Let It Rock are coming from because the crowd at Hilton seemed to like it and could actually clap to it.

We've had the same fight song for how long and it's played more than any song during games. Sadly even with all that "practice" by 1/2 way through the song we're usually out of sync with the band.

Next you are going to say we need to get Jeff Johnson on the court to show us how to fast clap right?

Just like the "CY-CL-ON-ES Cylclones Cylones Go State!" chant that failed miserably this intro needs to go away too...

Yes, I want him to demonstrate how to clap 14 times per second.

And then I want to watch the 60+ generation try it.

Let it rock is the better song before the game. The other one just doesn't seem to belong, I'm blaming any loss this season at Hilton (if any) on the intro
