Chasson Randle at the Iowa Game
I guess he went to the game last night. How bad would it suck if you had a top 50 player coming to watch your team and you had to give away student tickets for them to show up. Then the place was less than half empty. Then you get beat by an average team. Hopefully we wait until conference time to start getting the big time recruits to come in and see a full Hilton.

Well, as a Cyclone, I'm glad to hear his visit to Iowa went well... Hopefully, we can keep playing well when the big games roll into town!

Re: Chasson Randle at the Iowa Game
I was at the game last night, and I would say there were no more than 5,000 people there. It's really sad.... -
Re: Chasson Randle at the Iowa Game
The way they were playing, and as hard as they played, I really thought they had a shot last night. I was listening on the way to work, but didn't know the results until a buddy told me at work.
These guys play hard. No doubt about that.

They do play hard. I can't help but watch, because they are going to win a game they shouldn't have and I want to see it. If they had someone who could penetrate I think that would be a huge help to them offensively.

Jake Kelly could penetrate, couldn't he? They would look entirely different if he hadn't gone home (with good reason).

I've said it a million times: Most Hawk fans will not follow a losing product. They do not like to associate themselves with losing. I've always prided clone fans in that we support our team even when the programs are down.
Remember that stressed spelled backwards is desserts!

It's funny, too, because one jihadic Hawk fan at work will swear up and down that Iowa fans are there through thick and thin, not like the Cyclone fans who only show up when they're on the bandwagon.
Then he rails on Ronnie Harmon for taking mob money and throwing the Rose Bowl. He's a happy man. We're all grateful to have him.

If we did not follow them we would never get to go to a game.

I agree, the game was on ESPN2 and when they did the court-long shot you could see ALL the empty seats behind the hoop, pretty sad. I will say that it was a 8:30 game on a Tuesday night but still...looked bad on TV.

Re: Chasson Randle at the Iowa Game
I thought that was him sitting behind the Iowa bench. I'm sure he's been there before when the place was a lot more full, so he knows it could be better.
