I haven't had a chance to listen much this year (haven't watched any games yet)

Listening to the game tonight... we were all of 5 minutes into the game and I was asking what was with the student section? I am really disappointed that I haven't heard crap from them since tip off

how about the Wisconsin student section vs Duke. That's how ours should be (was) from tipoff to final horn.

Where's the "Let's go State!" chant when we have the ball... I haven't heard this all game.

Somewhere out there, former students yelling at their TVs like their lives depended on it. If my reactions at home are stronger than the students standing in the front row, something is up.

Compare the crowds at the women's games to the men's games - not as many students at the women's games but just as loud (if not louder). The best experience I had as a student was when we beat Virginia (I want to say it was '04 or '05) - I haven't experienced a game like that since...

Sad... my last memory of being at an ISU game in CA was playing Texas in '08. It was coming down to crunch time, and me and a few others started hitting the chairs in front of us to make some noise... and several underclassmen turned around at us and gawked at us like we were aliens.

our freshman year, 2004-2005 I thought it was ran really well! From then on, it seemed to go down hill every year from there on. I remember games against KU and Texas where I couldn't even hear the person next to me yelling. Now they are shown what to do for free throws, the "leaders" don't do anything to pump everyone up.

I didn't like Cyclone Alley when it started...I never joined, just came early to get good seats on the other side. The two sides definitely had two different atmospheres.

Yeah '03-'04, '04-'05 were fine. Then it was CA only and things went down hill fast
