Not like I got my screen name from Basketball insanity or anything.... :jimlad:
Here is there chance to be loud
Didn't need no young whipper snapper to tell us how to cheer, no sonny, we had the gumpture to cheer on our own! We were FANS I tell you! Lordy kids these days are so lazy... with their damn Ipods in their ears and texting on their phones not paying attention to the games.
Oh for the simpler days when only girls were texted, and they sat in the balcony instead of the front row!
Oh for the days when Facebook was only open to college students, and people couldn't check it from their phones instead of watching the game!
kids these days

Oh well, to be fair atleast they are still showing up - we ARE better than Iowa
(not that that should be our standard to measure ourselves by)
Let me get this straight you are going to criticize students who actually go to the games, while you sit at home watching the game on TV. How about you go to the games instead of criticize those who do go to the games.
I think the students should stop showing up to games. If it is so bad, you guys go sit in the student section then. I'll give you my t-shirt and my ticket, you can sit in my spot in the front row where I was tonight, yelling for every defensive possession. If I had a chair in front of me I would have been banging on it in front of me.
Excuse me if I don't care to dance along to "Jump Around". I'm there to yell and scream when the game is rolling and try and help my team. I don't think that song does it. I don't think I lack enthusiasm. Sorry if I don't get all excited when the camera comes to me, it's just not my thing.
Cyclone Alley isn't the problem. With or without it the crowd will be the same. Sorry we don't have 20 win teams to cheer for. I've sat through some pretty mediocre seasons the last five years.
But I'll stop coming to games if all I'm doing is hurting the team and atmosphere of Hilton Magic.
