    Gilstrap

Does Mcdermott think he isn't clutch? Because with one minute remaining 3 fouls isn't considered trouble(neither is 4). So why doesn't the one player that can really get to the hoop effectively not play in the clutch?

    Re: Gilstrap

He only played 25 minutes tonight. I know he made some mistakes being too aggressive with the ball, but my god, we need his scoring ability late in the game. One field goal in the final 6 minutes......UNACCEPTABLE

    Re: Gilstrap

Gilstrap has Kenny Pratt type moves for clutch scoring at the end of game, lets remember though this is Craig Brackins team, this team will not win until Craig finds a way to make sure the ball goes through him on EVERY possession at the end of games and that starts by not getting pushed around by players with far less talent than he has.

I do not know. The game just disconbubulated at the five minute mark as usual.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

Bad coaching. Bad use of players. Bad use of time outs. Greg McDermott reminds me of John L. Smith.
Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

He has Bronchitis, correct? Was that reported or just rumored? After a few minutes in he looked dead on Saturday night and tonight. Sucks, everything sucks.

His six turnovers may have had something to do with it.

I understand your point, at the same time he is probably our best creator from the perimeter. I think he needs to be on the floor.
    I'm on Twitter too: Tre4ISU

    Or so I have read.

At least he does not stand around. He could at least draw a foul.

    This.

It's pretty painful to watch him over-penetrate into the lane and get a charge called or turn the ball over by dribbling into traffic. The good thing is that he's still adjusting to this level and has plenty of talent to get past these mistakes but I cringe whenever he power dribbles towards the basket.

And the fact that he had 3 fouls most of the night.

    Re: Gilstrap

I like Gilstrap's agressiveness but I think at times he needs to slow it down some and let the game come to him. His first 2 fouls were charges and both plays he seems to go barrelling to the hoop out of control. We play better when we make the extra pass and Gilstrap is one of those guys that can draw a defense in and create an open shot for someone else.

    Re: Gilstrap

It was mentioned several times that Gilstrap needs to stop running into people, it isnt paying off at the moment. He should drive, step back and pop. Right now he is developing a taste for the charge.
