Exactly it...And we did not adjust.
Disappointed more than anything.

DG was our best player last night period.
I would have liked to see this lineup last night:
Garrett
Colvin
Lucca
Gilstrap
Brackins
I'm general, I would like to see Buckley get some of Colvin's minutes, and Colvin get some of Christopherson's minutes.
DG's crossover at the end of the first half broke my ankles and I was sitting in the stands.
I would argue that was mainly because defensively UNI was focusing on shutting down the three in Lucca/Chirstopherson, and limiting Craig and Quis. You could tell they were not too worried about DG and they shut down a lot of his passing lanes forcing DG to take more shots than ISU would ever want him to take. However, for the most part, DG did really good with what came his way last night.
how often are you going to play a team that can shut down craig and quis and ALSO be able to shut down the 3 from LS, SC, and JVB?
Lineup should have been:
Colvin/Buckley (needs to play more if you want him here next year plus he's too good to sit on the bench all game while lucca/scott stand on the 3 point line
Garrett
Ques
Brackins
Hamilton
Lucca is completely pointless unless his man leaves him. He cannot drive and doesn't even attempt to honestly. Scott Christopherson seems timid since we started playing good teams. If we want to have a good year we need more than one person in who can drive late in games.
Your hitting on what has concerned me the most about Mac's tenure and that is that our guys never seem to be able to improve on their weakness's. DG needed to improve his outside shooting and it looks like their has been little or no improvement. CB needed to get stronger and develop some post moves, yet he looks the same as last year. Ham has some offensive potential but needed to improve his foot work, not much improvement to me. Our guys just don't seem to get much better over the years. opposing scouts have got to love watching ISU.
