Does anyone else hate the long ten day periods between games
I hate when there is no basketball for a week at a time...I know its nice for the players to get rested up and have alot of practice time to sharpen up, but man i hate the time inbetween. At least we had a football game to tide us over until tomorrow

It does seem like forever since we've watched them play. I like it, only because it gives them a chance to heal up, and work on the things that need ironed out.

With all the downtime this past month, we damn well better have cured all of our sloppy play, lack of offensive movement and anything else that could be blamed for the very lackluster ball we've played this year. I fully expect that we're twice as good as we were in November - and we damn well better be considering the talent we have.
A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.

It will be interesting to see how they come out playing tomorrow after this long layoff. Usually teams play out of sync and lacklusterly for the first portion of the game.

The gap between games is pretty long, too long. But, I must say that Mac definitely needed this time to get the team on the same page. We have a very tough hall ahead of us with Duke and then the start of the Big XII schedule which is brutal.
Let's hope we all see tangible dividends when we play tomorrow afternoon. This is a good time to reset the season and refocus.

exactly.. so please nobody freak out if we make some silly mistakes in the first half. It'll work out and we'll pull away in the 2nd.

I hate the layoff as a fan but understand the importance for the team. I'm excited for the next couple weeks. Lots of great games. Well worth the wait.

People will freak out if they play well and are up by anything less that 20 points at the half. Either way I guarantee there will be a freak by many people regardless of what happens.
