Driving to Chicago - Hazardous Weather
For those of you driving to Chicago for the Duke game tomorrow, be aware that we have a winter storm approaching that will likely make travel difficult tomorrow and Thursday.
The brunt of the storm will occur in Iowa from Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday night. Illinois will be impacted Wednesday night and Thursday. After the snow ends, high winds will continue to make travel difficult or even worse as there will be a lot of blowing and drifting snow. Right now we are looking at 4 - 7" in central Iowa and 6 - 8" into Illinois.
If you are leaving from central Iowa, you should be ok if you are on the road by mid morning Wednesday. Coming back Thursday might be a problem....
See everyone in Chicago!!! Go Cyclones!

4. Jack frost is moving to California Funny thing is that we were in Chicago this weekend. Watched the weather once. They said that it was cold, but it could be worse, and pointed to our weather report. Apparently, it's a few degrees colder here than Chicago. -

From what I hear, teenage girls are much better drivers.

Additionally, I could make a helluva case that I was nowhere NEAR the worst driver in that vehicle, and I'm guessing Flag Guy would agree.

Flag Guy can't take crap. He drove the crappiest shifts, through the crappiest states. Midnight to 7am through New Mexico, Oklahoma, West Texas, etc. over the course of our trip.
