I would agree. Whatever the outcome is, I wont be shocked.

I take that back, if ISU wins by 15+, I'll be shocked.

Duke=well rounded fundamental team that makes very few mistakes
ISU=lacks fundamentals of the game...box out, free throws, ball fakes, passing etc...

I hope I’m dead wrong, but Duke is going to take us out back and pound the living **** out of us.

Box out, yes
Free throws, we're not that much worse than we have been historically and people haven't been crying then.
Ball fakes, depends on the player.
Passing, we for the most part pass well...sometimes too well and it leads to turnovers because what one guy sees another guy isn't seeing, but the pass gets where it should've gone.

This game could get ugly fast. I think everyone knows we have to play flawless to have a chance at this one. So far this season i havnt seen that. Duke went into clemson and held them to 12 first half points. Their defense is outstanding. We all know what sheyer (spelling) can do on the outside and we all know how our defense can be, or almost always is. I love how we scheduled this game because it will show where we stand going into big 12 play. But honestly Brackins and Gilstrap have to go off for 25 and 25 to have a chance at this one. Can they do it? Yes. Pukes defense is very good though.

I think we will see a game similiar to us playing California. Too many 2nd chance points off of rebounds and us not hitting shots. If we can't rebound we won't win. Its really easy to figure this out.

The only way to counter that is to hit 10+ Threes. (which I would love for us to do)
Then we have a chance to win.

I think this is the beginning of a really rough stretch for ISU.
I think we will start 0-5 in conference

Not sure how nervous most of their fans are. I work in Raleigh and have several coworkers who regularly attend Duke games. Whenever I tried to start any trash talk over the previous couple of weeks, I got blank stares. Most of them had forgotten that they were playing Iowa State. All they cared about was Gonzaga and starting ACC play.

Hopefully the players and Coach K have been similarly focused.

I'm impressed by the intelligence on that board. I don't think I saw anyone on there saying, "we are Duke, we are going to destroy them because we are Duke". There was actually thought and logic to what they were saying and they seem to know basketball. If other Duke fans are like this I might have to consider adopting another team to cheer for, after ISU of course.

I hope we can stay in the game early. Historically, whether it's football or basketball, when we finally get a big, nationally televised game, we just get blown out early. Remember when Seneca had all the turnovers and Oklahoma beat us something like 59-0. I think we were in the top 10 then. Other basketball games come to mind. Hope I'm wrong, if we can start off okay I think we will hang with them.

No, this was for Harrison Barnes. Jon is from Chicago so it worked out that the game was moved there. I hope K shows no mercy and just buries Iowa State and HB is in attendace, better yet bring Shirley just to see what he missing out on. Nothing against Iowa State .

After watching a lot of Big 8/Big XII games over the years, I can tell you Iowa State fans travel well and are loud when they get there. I suspect we'll be out-numbered in Chicago.

I just want to puke when I think about this match-up, though. Anything related to he-who-shall-not-be-named makes me puke.

Wish it were Kansas. That would be a nice little OOC game for both teams.

Is it for a recruit who decided to wear carolina blue. That would surprise me but K seemed to throw everything but the kitchen sink at him to commit.
