but man i couldnt be more disappointed in the game...I thought we would play alot better, and im a little disappointed in how mcdermont didnt really make any game changes to make duke do things differently, we have had no help side defense and the rebounding was pretty poor...Other then that at least we showed up for a half

We played really well at times, and very poorly at others. Give Duke credit, they were a big part of it.

We really need to work on rebounding, turnovers, and getting the ball inside/causing fouls.

This is what always irks me. Seriously ask yourself when the last time we have really made any decent half time adjustments....

I'm less disappointed with our effort in this game that against North Dakota. I'm much more disappointed in the result. There is a vast difference in the competition we faced in the two games.

Mac can't help most of the problems tonight. By college kids either rebound or they don't. It is a matter of going and getting the ball. Charles Barkeley said in his book something to the effect of "I never purposely boxed someone out. I just went and got the damn ball. If you do that you will be successful rebounding." We have one or two guys that really goes after the ball. We need everyone on the defensive end getting in there. As far as turnovers, Mac can't do anything about that. Our guys just seem to dumb things with the ball sometime.

I don't know what the deal is. It may be Mac but I don't really think it is. I think we have a bunch of "nice guys" on this team. We don't seem to have anyone that just is nasty out there. Neither does Duke but they have a bunch of polished players. We don't have that either.

This is the exact thing I thought. I was only a 2 hour drive away and really wanted to go but after getting back from the bowl game I just thought "is it worth the time and money to watch us get SMOKED by duke and have to walk out p***ed off". Answer: no

It just sucks that GMac's teams can't pull an upset....ever....ever....ever....
